Economy Hurting Your Business Time To Promote Wisely!

The question is do you spend marketing dollars during such hard times?
Now is not the time to spend 1,000's of dollars on commercial ads, and billboards but, it is the time to do small scale promotions. Here are a few examples to get you started.

If you own a store front:

Collaborate with the local library and do a community based event (story-time, how to class, coat drive drop off at your location)

For both home based and store front businesses:

Get promotional products that identify who you are for example - A computer technician looking to stir up business might give out personalized cd-cleaners, or a hair dresser might want to give out a free comb with every purchase with her name and phone number imprinted on it. These kind of items cost less then 1.50 each and have great impact.

Remember part of marketing is branding your name so that people remember who you are if you are consistent with your marketing plan your repeat business will be successful and your new business will be even more successful.
