I wrote a post right here called "Spare Your Advertising Coin During This Tough Economy". Imagine my surprise when I found the content of my post (including the picture from the post) on some other blog! The words were jumbled up a bit and links were put in for ads for Viagra! I called out the content thief here and you can check it out if you want, but the real story here is how to put a stop to sploggers.
As I often do, I turned to my fellow bloggers on Blog Catalog for advice on how to proceed. I was met with humor, suggestions and support. A friend over there provided me with the exact information I need to report a splog. I am going to just send you straight over to those links so that you can arm yourself in case this happens to one of your posts.

So many of my articles are imported to splogs that I have just resorted to starting each article with "By Dr. Nicole Sundene of KitchenTableMedicine.com...etc" I have found that most splogs use some kind of computerized program that they import my free advertising tag right along with the article ;o
I am glad to know there are some splog police out there. This is a real problem with plagiarism and spam on the internet.
