Over the past several weeks, my inbox has been flooded with spam by a site called "Profit From Craigslist". I have been getting at LEAST eight to ten emails daily from this site that is trying to sell me software. Supposedly this software gives me "insider access" to the secrets of how to use Craigslist. Give me a break!
As most people do, I get junk mail in my inbox regularly. It has been a long time since I have received such a barrage of spam from one company on an ongoing basis. The site states that it is not endorsed by Craigslist. From the site:
"Craigslist, USA Today,CBS News, Entrepenuer Magazine,Business Journal does not sponsor, endorse, nor is in any way affiliated with Online Business Systems, LLC™ or this promotion. "
In my opinion, Craigslist should look into this because their name is being shoved in thousands of people's faces in an annoying manner. I bet a lot of recipients don't click over to the sender's site and just associate the unwanted swarm of spam with the Craigslist site itself.
Note to senders of this spam I keep getting: STOP now! I am going to start reporting it if it does not cease immediately!

I totally agree! Craigslist has to do something about their site so people or bots can't fill you email up with spam. I have resorted to creating email accounts just for my craigslist posting cause my real accounts got to filled with crap! I use this site for classified ads cause they don't allow spam and nothing gets in my email accounts. Free Online Classifieds or http://www.metrowny.com/ads.php Have a great day!
