Tonight kicks off the 2008 Nascar season with the Budweiser Shootout. All of the pole winners from last season as well as prior Shootout winners, get to drive in this race.
My man Jimmie Johnson has finished in the top ten in his five appearances at the Shootout. I have high hopes for tonight even though he will be starting at the back of the pack. Next weekend, the first race of the season will take place at the Daytona International Speedway.
